After a fire at il Focolare on July 4th/5th we've been trying to find a way for y'all to provide a little bit of support while we work with our insurance company to get repairs done. While the fire damage was moderate - we're probably looking at 12-16 weeks of remediation, repairs, inspections, and training before we can reopen. In the meantime, we've absorbed some of the staff at CITY GRIT and smallSUGAR and are working on how we can move il Focolare into its next chapter. Proceeds from the sale of these t-shirts will go directly to helping us reopen and cover expenses not covered by the insurance company (so... most of them).
Think of it like you are ordering a pizza but you get to wear it around town forever. Everyone ordering a t-shirt will get a special heads up to our eventual soft-re-opening in what will hopefully be October.
T-shirts are being designed and printed in collaboration with Spotted Marketing & Print, located in the Vista in downtown Columbia, SC. This product is a PREORDER. We'll be having these printed in groups of 50 or so and delivered to CITY GRIT for pickup. We can also ship it to you anywhere in the US. Just select that option at checkout. Printing and shipping should take 10-14 days after we order each batch. Images below are a mockup but should be very, very similar to the final product. We will have some additional shirts available for sale in person at CITY GRIT after each round of printing.
